By Air

Leon, Guanajuato (BJX) is the closest airport, with multiple flights per day from major US cities. Airport taxis will take you to the house, or we can arrange a pickup. Car rental is not recommended, as parking is expensive and difficult in central Guanajuato, and taxis are cheap (around US $30 from the airport, $3 in town) and plentiful.

By Bus

Guanajuato has an active terminal, with buses arriving and departing every 10 minutes to Leon and surrounding cities. Luxury (Lujo) or Executive (Ejecutivo) service is available. If you learn the Mexican bus system, getting around the country is cheap and easy! You’ll need a local taxi to get to the house, about US $3.00.

Driving

If you drive in, you’ll want to park outside of downtown. We recommend parking at Plaza Posuelos, which has normal sized parking spots in their covered parking garage. Approximately US $10/day. Catch a taxi at the mall entrance to take you the rest of the way to the house.
