This is a one-bedroom, one-bath, apartment with a small kitchen equipped with a gas stove and refrigerator, and a nice sized dining room/living room combination.
The apartment is finished in the colonial style, with extensive tile, wood beams, and hand carved doors. It is in the protected central historic district, and was restored with modern plumbing and electrical, and wireless broadband service. It is located a few blocks away from the Plaza de la Paz, the Jardin and the Mercado Hidalgo. It is an easy stroll to the Teatro Juarez, and another block or so to the Teatro Principal (see map). Location is 10/10!
Door portals and a window let in light from the street, skylights allow light and cross breezes in the bath and kitchen. Nestled into the hill, the bedroom is a quiet refuge from the activities in the streets. Access to the property’s roof garden and patio is included, though it requires walking around the block to access the stairway.
The Don Quixote apartment is our best option if stairs are an issue for you, with only a couple of steps up from the alley.
